will head to Piazza di Spagna
will be a clear sky.roads were opened on the hill of pines and stone. The tumult of the streetswill not change that air stops.flowers sprayed fountains of colorsogle women asfun. Stairsterraces swallowssing in the sun.S'aprirà that road, stones sing, my heart beatwincing as the water in the fountains - this will be the voicethat will increase your scale. The windows willthe smell of stone and airmorning. S'aprirà a door. The tumult of the streets will be the heart of the turmoil in the lightlost.
Will you be - firm and clear.
Cesare Pavese Pavese
I have always appreciated, but I knew most of his work by the narrator as a poet. I thought, mistakenly, that's more the little 'I had read to understand the essence, but I was wrong. The verses just reported
struck me from the first moment.
(Maybe because they remind me a wonderful day "Roman" lived a few years ago ... or maybe because me know about them discover it was a person who really appreciate and that has always managed to move towards the most beautiful discoveries in the world of reading .. ..)
Maybe the other will not have the same evocative power they have for me, but still, in my opinion, equally beautiful.
