Watership Down center is the first born in Italy to recover the animals. It is located in the park of Monza and welcomes rats guinea pigs and rabbits that have undergone testing that may be adopted after rehabilitation.
The animals are recovered from various pharmaceutical laboratories, universities, private research centers. By law it is possible by these structures to yield to the animals still in good condition at the end of the trial.
Guests take a long and expensive path to return to live outside the cages.
